Little Norway.
On our way home, we stumbled upon this unexpected hidden gem: Little Norway 🇳🇴✨ At first glance, it looks like a traditional Norwegian stave church, but this one has a remarkable story. The building was originally constructed for the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago to showcase Norwegian architecture and craftsmanship. After the fair, it became part of the famous Little Norway museum in Wisconsin, where it stood for over a century as a tribute to Norwegian heritage. Today, it continues to tell the story of the thousands of Norwegians who emigrated to North America and kept their traditions alive. 🪵⛪ Discovering a piece of Norway so far from home was a surprise we certainly didn't expect, and one we'll remember for a long time. 💙
